Informative post #2: The Internet, A Place Where You Socialize

Even though in my last post, I said that internet harms people, it can also be used for good. One thing that I have learned is that the internet binds people, it gathers people from various cultures and make it so that they can interact and gain more knowledge of the vast world.

• Naver, Korea's biggest portal service, is a gate for people with similar interests to gather.
• Web portals even hold charities
• Through chatting, people will eventually want to meet in real life
• As a result, a new group can be formed, such as the Naver community Music Band Association for Office Workers.
• In 2010, there are over 2,650 members who are ecstatic to learn about their own instrument.
• Another example is the Automobile club Chatadang, formed by only 4 people that knew each other through chatting via Twitter
